The fall season is in full swing here in England but there is no cooling down for us at Imagination. Launching the Creator Ci20 microcomputer last year has been a very exciting experience – a big thanks to everyone that has helped us spread the word, it really means a lot to have your support!

Today we’re ready to announce that a brand new Creator board for the IoT market is in the works! It is called Creator Ci40 – and I speak for everyone when I say that I’m extremely proud of what the engineering team has been building in our labs!

Update 1: The Creator Ci40 dev kit is now available for purchase on Kickstarter. Click on the image below to read more about the technical specifications and how the order one.

For now, all I can tell you is that the brand new chip at the heart of Creator Ci40 is based on an IoT IP subsystem that has been engineered from the ground-up for the Internet of Things market.

If you want to be notified when the new Creator is available for pre-order, you can also register your interest using this form. We guarantee we won’t spam you; we’ll only send you one notification email when the pre-ordering system goes live.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my sneak peek of what’s been going on behind the scenes at Imagination. We’re extremely excited about the new Creator, and we can’t wait to tell you what we’re working on next. Powered by the most innovative CPU architecture any SoC designer could wish for, Creator Ci40 packs some leading specifications, including the same MIPS MT multithreading technology used by Mobileye inside the recently announced EyeQ4 ADAS chip.

This is just the beginning of something truly amazing.
