Imagination highlights virtualization and security trends at Linley Tech Processor Conference


London, UK – 3rd October, 2014 – Imagination Technologies (IMG.L) announces that its experts will be on hand at the Linley Tech Processor Conference 2014 to discuss key challenges and trends in processor design, with a focus on the needs of enterprise and carrier equipment developers.

·         “Multi-tenant Network Function Virtualization”: as part of Session 1, “Evolution of SDN and Virtualization Functions,” Majid Bemanian, director of strategic marketing, networking and storage, will discuss the implementation of scalable end-to-end secure virtual network functions in a multi-tenant environment leveraging the unique features of multi-threading on a multicluster platform.

·         “Hierarchical Trusted Execution Environments”: as part of Session 6, “Scalable, Power-Efficient, and Secure Processors,” John Min, director of solution engineering, will describe the security requirements for next-generation SoCs targeting IoT to mobile to datacenter. He will also explore the key elements of a secure SoC and discuss a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective tiered security architecture for next-generation devices.

·         Exhibits: during the evening reception on Wednesday, October 22nd, Imagination will highlight the latest products and solutions featuring its range of IP cores, including PowerVR multimedia, MIPS CPU, Ensigma connectivity, FlowCloud device-to-cloud platform, and other key technologies for next-generation SoC development.
